High-temperature alloy

Arcotuff

Wear protection engineered for elevated service temperatures

Overview

What Arcotuff is

Arcotuff is specified where heat, not just abrasion, drives failure. The alloy chemistry retains hardness and resists thermal fatigue in clinker, sinter and hot gas paths that soften conventional overlays.

Key features

  • Holds hardness where standard CCO plate anneals
  • Resists thermal shock cracking and spalling
  • Suited to hot gas ducting and clinker handling
  • Supplied as drop-in fabricated liner sets

Typical applications

  • Clinker cooler zones
  • Sinter plant chutes
  • Hot gas ducting
  • Kiln inlet and outlet zones
