Super Absorbent Polymer for moisture reduction in iron ore and coal
SNF Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) takes up excess moisture in iron ore, coal and bulk minerals, so wet, sticky material becomes drier and free-flowing.
Wet iron ore and coal cause a chain of problems: hang-up in chutes, carry-back on belts, spillage in transport and lost value in the product. Removing the excess moisture solves them at source.
Super Absorbent Polymer is a cross-linked polymer that absorbs and holds large amounts of water. We supply it with our partner SNF Water Science.
