Polyurethane liners & pipes

PU liners and polyurethane pipes for wet, abrasive duty

Polyurethane liners, PU pipes and PU tubes that outlast rubber and steel in wet, abrasive and high-impact applications. Supplied with our partner Vam Poly Plast, manufacturing in Hyderabad since 1988.

Polyurethane is the right answer when material is wet, abrasive and moving. It absorbs impact instead of cracking, resists water, oil and many chemicals, and weighs far less than steel.

We supply PU liners, PU pipes and custom polyurethane parts for steel, cement, mining and power plants, and reline worn equipment with polyurethane.

Polyurethane tubes and PU pipes for abrasive slurry handling

Where PU liners beat steel and rubber

  • Wet slurry and fine abrasive flow that erodes steel
  • Impact zones where hard linings crack
  • Screening decks, hydrocyclones and pump liners
  • Chutes and hoppers where lighter liners ease installation
  • Areas where noise from material impact needs to come down

Choosing between PU, UHMWPE and steel

Polyurethane handles wet abrasion and impact well, but it is not a high-temperature material. For hot sinter, clinker or coke we specify wear plate instead. For dry, sticky material where low friction matters most, UHMWPE liners are often the better choice. We will tell you which fits your duty.

What you get

  • Longer life in wet, abrasive service
  • Impact absorbed instead of cracking
  • Lighter liners, faster installation
  • Lower noise at transfer points
  • Custom shapes made to drawing

Frequently asked questions

What are PU liners used for?

PU liners protect chutes, hoppers, screens, cyclones and pipes from wet abrasion and impact. They are widely used in mining, mineral processing, steel, cement and power plants.

Are polyurethane liners better than rubber liners?

In many wet, abrasive duties polyurethane lasts longer than rubber because it combines abrasion resistance with high elasticity and load bearing. Rubber can still suit some low-cost, low-wear applications. We recommend based on your material and flow.

Can PU pipes handle slurry?

Yes. Polyurethane tubes and PU-lined pipes are used for abrasive slurry, where they resist erosion and are lighter than steel pipe.

What temperature can PU liners handle?

Polyurethane is not suited to hot material. For hot sinter, clinker or coke we specify high-temperature wear plate instead. Share your operating temperature and we will confirm the right material.

Who manufactures your PU liners?

Our partner Vam Poly Plast, an ISO 9001:2015 certified polyurethane manufacturer in Hyderabad, established in 1988.
